2. Kenosha Main Street, LLC

In the heart of downtown, on the busiest corner intersection, this classic 2 story limestone Revival building sits majestically overlooking the historic streetcar, with lake views.

A beautiful example of victorian architecture with an ornate metal cornice design.

9. Kenosha Professional Offices, LLC

On lively Main Street (6 th Ave), this 2 story brick building, built in 1912 has gone thru a transformation from former attorney offices, into a vibrant tattoo, & tattoo removal studio. The inside features exposed brick, a 2 story atrium, with a unique 8 ft domed skylight. The space has been completely updated, including the lower level.

11. Kenosha Heritage, LLC.

Built in 1873, on Main Street (6 th Ave), this charming 2 story brick building, is actually two buildings side by side. The north storefront has been completely renovated with a new retail storefront, with a14 high ceiling, new HVAC with spiral ductwork, ADA bathroom wood floors and new lighting, etc. The exterior was complete covered with aluminum siding, including covering the 2nd floor windows. The siding was removed to reveal the original brick cornice details, and eyebrow window design.

Charming 2 story vintage brick building, 4,268 sq. ft. with all new 1st level storefront. The upstairs is entirely one residential unit, with front & rear entrances. They building is across from the Historical, Daniel Turnham designed, Simmons Library, and a beautiful flower garden. The charming church bells of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, can be heard on occasion.

This high visibility corner location once housed downtown’s Kresge store. (pre-cursor to Kmart). It is the downtown’s best architectural example of Mid-Century Modern design, with clean horizontal features, ornate stainless steel trim around the storefront glass, large windows, etc. It totals 11,953 sq. ft. with approx. 2,500 of that on the 2nd floor.

15. Kenosha Passion, LLC

This local historical landmark building built in 1922, with over 28,000 sq. ft. is rich in kenosha history! It has 4 stores, with retail along 6th ave, the mothballed theatre in rear, and wide open spaces, on the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th floors. It has ample public parking in the rear, and great storefront presence on main street. (6th ave).  Subsequent new owners have invested additional capital improvements. Now owned By Alex Kudrna and home of Backyard Dream Studio’s, along with a bright new shared office space called the “O”.

Market Square
This centrally located 3 story limestone building is often shown in many of downtown’s historical photos.  Over 10,000 sq. ft. over three stories, plus a finished lower level, it now is home to Anytime Fitness. This building required installing seven (7) new heating & air conditioning systems over the four levels. New roof & window repairs, new bathrooms, refinished lower floor, etc.  The subsequent owner Lewis Arreco, has invested significant new capital improvements, and the building is one of the most prominent in all of downtown.

5533 6th Ave
This 2 story brick building was purchased thru a sheriff sale.  The upper floor has one of the best residential 2 bedroom apartments in all of downtown, with custom cabinetry made by talented Jim Matzur, proprietor of the Boathouse.  The first floor commercial was gutted, and the brick wall sandblasted, etc.  Subsequent owners have invested significant capital improvements.  Today it is home to Sazzy B.
