PROJECT SUMMARY:

Building improvements included building a custom Daycare designed with multi-use rooms, with sinks, and window viewing, a camera system, and low profile children’s restrooms. Also, a new parking lot was installed.
The building employees about 25 workers, and the Bright From the Start daycare provides for over 100 children daily. Children are taken to the local museums and playgrounds downtown.

CURRENT USE & AVAILABILITY:

This building currently houses the largest bank branch by deposits in Kenosha County. A wonderful childcare facility, named Bright from the Start, Inc. has operated a vibrant daycare for over 8 years in the heart of our downtown.

HISTORY OF THE KENOSHA MAIN STREET BUILDING:

Built in 1921, the original building housed only the corner bank. The building annexed the three building to the north, as the bank expanded to do its own title work, and other financial services.
